NYS TESOL 50th Annual Conference Registration
Past, Future and Present Progressive
This year NYS TESOL is offering three full days of workshops, site visits, plenary speakers, roundtables, poster presentations and concurrent sessions. We are excited to be hosting our first Electronic Village, a new space to share and learn about innovative ways to integrate technology into teaching practices with and for multilingual learners. This year we are also celebrating our 50th anniversary, so we are anticipating many special events to honor the work of our diverse teachers, students, researchers and multilingual community!
We are pleased to be hosting the conference at the beautiful Crowne Plaza Hotel in White Plains, NY, a convenient drive or train ride from upstate or NYC. In New York State ALL teachers are teachers of English Language Learners/Multilingual Learners, and so we encourage all teachers, teacher educators, support staff, and administrators to attend the conference. Whether you are an ENL/Bilingual teacher, an elementary teacher, a high school math teacher, an adult educator, an EFL teacher or a college professor, we will have sessions geared toward you. We encourage you to bring your colleagues to the conference so that you can collaborate on ways to support English Language Learners/Multilingual Learners. Also, you have the opportunity to earn up to 6 CTLE credits per day of attendance.
This year NYS TESOL is including a one year membership to NYS TESOL with ALL conference registrations. If you are already a member of NYS TESOL, upon payment your membership will be renewed for an additional year from the time it expires. In addition, this year we have included breakfast and lunch in your registration so that we have lots of opportunity to dine and share together during the conference. We hope that you will find this convenient, enjoyable, and productive!
