Kaydi Mursu (12) and Dylan Selander (9) performed their solos this past weekend (May 13th) at the state competition. They both received the highest score of a superior rating and Dylan also received best in site. Congratulations on your hard work!

About Ms. Jacobs
Cambria Jacobs is a proud alumni of Wartburg Collge, where she earned her Bachelor of Music in Music Education and played her clarinet in the world famous Wartburg College Wind Ensemble. She attended Waconia High School in Waconia, MN.
Ms. Jacobs began teaching at NYM in 2021. Her responsibilities include direction the 5th grade, 6th grade, Junior High, and Senior High Bands; teaching 5th and 6th grade small-group band lessons; directing pep band at football, volleyball, wrestling, and boys and girls basketball games; directing the Junior High and Senior High Jazz Bands; teaching summer band lessons to new and current elementary band students; and directing the New York Mills Marching Eagles.
When not at school or playing her instruments, Ms. Jacobs enjoys spending time with her family and friends and dog. You can find her outside hiking, camping, or otherwise enjoying the outdoors.
