Student National Medical Association 

Student National Medical Association (SNMA) is committed to supporting current and future underrepresented minority medical students, addressing the needs of underserved communities, and increasing the number of clinically excellent, culturally competent and socially conscious physicians. 

SNMA hosts a speaker series where we invite physicians from various fields to discuss their experiences throughout their medical journey. In addition, SNMA proudly hosts a Domestic Violence Awareness Program, which includes a fundraiser, bake sale and in-person discussion in collaboration with Long Island Against Domestic Violence. One of our biggest events of the year is Taste Of Nations, a night of cultural appreciation through talent, food, music and more. We look forward to meeting you and promoting the mission of SNMA together.
