American Osteopathic College of Anesthesiologist 

We are an organization hoping to provide students with experience in the speciality of Anesthesiology. Through workshops, lectures, and guest speakers, we hope to educate students on a specialty that mixes critical care, pharmacology, pathophysiology, and much more. Students will have the opportunity to network with resident physicians and attending physicians at various events. We also provide information on research opportunities and anesthesia specific conferences around the country. 

Mission Statement: AOCA is the primary resource for clinical education and professional development for physician anesthesiologists, and facilitates networking, advocates, and promotes the practice of osteopathic anesthesiology. 

Engage - AOCA builds a dynamic, engaged, and inclusive membership which sustains the growth and reflects the values of the College. 

Educate - AOCA equips physician anesthesiologists with evidence-based content and professional development tools to grow, enhance, and advance their careers. 

Advocate - AOCA is a community of key and emerging leaders who advance osteopathic anesthesiology and advocate on behalf of physician anesthesiologists and their patients.

Promote - AOCA develops the culture and leadership of the College’s board and volunteer members to become strategic, innovative, and diverse
