Staff: Professional Development
For these tiered level programmes, teacher chaperones will be equipped with the necessary skills to facilitate students’ learning through relevant professional development sessions.
Ultimately, after the 4-year journey, we hope to develop the 21st Century Competencies in our students, focusing on:
Teachers and students will be guided using the CQ 4-step process to help them build their capacity to function effectively in culturally diverse settings.
Meaningful programmes will be carefully curated to help achieve the desired learning outcomes. Each GCP experience could include school exchange, cultural experience, industrial visit, facilitated reflection, alumni interaction and independent experiential learning.
Nurturing students through cross cultural learning experiences:
To be bilingual and bicultural civic-minded stewards with global perspectives
To be flourishing and reflective life-long learners
To be adaptive and innovative thinkers
To enhance their cultural awareness and appreciation of diverse cultures, and develop their cross-cultural literacy
To strengthen their communication and collaboration skills; and to build stronger sense of identity
