Responsible Usage
We believe in the Power of Me and the Power of Us when it comes to the responsible use of PLDs.
Nanyang Girls are empowered to develop their self-control and discern appropriateness. Here are some resources for the students.
Parents are encouraged to adopt Positive Parenting to involve the child when discussing the boundaries and rules of using their PLDs responsibly. Here are some resources for the parents.
Technical Support
Our ICT support staff are here to help when you encounter an issue with your PLD. If you can identify whether it's a software or hardware issue, please visit the following links accordingly.
If you are not sure, please write to NDLP@nygh.edu.sg for a diagnosis.
Accounts Management
Students should take responsibility to safe-keep their ICT accounts' IDs and passwords.
There are two eco-systems in NYGH:
NYGH Accounts
For school-subscribed ICT services, students are to sign in with their NYGH Gmail accounts (@nygh.edu.sg). Such services include:
Google Workspace
Padlet (Schoolbag Account)
Turnitin (for assigned level)
NYGH Portal uses a difference set of IDs and passwords for students and parents.
Please write to ict@nygh.edu.sg if you encounter any problem with your NYGH accounts.
MOE Accounts
Since 20 July 2023, students must use the MIMS Student Self-service Password Reset Service if they forget their MIMS (iCON) passwords. Students should reset their MIMS password at least once a year. Please write to ict@nygh.edu.sg if your MIMS account is locked due to multiple times of wrong password entry or expired password.
Students should log in to the following MOE-subscribed ICT services with their MIMS iCON account (@students.edu.sg):
Microsoft 365
SLS
SWN WiFi network
Computer Labs
