The 2025 school-prescribed PLD (Lenovo ThinkPad L13 2 in 1 Gen 5) and the 2024 school-prescribed PLD (Lenovo ThinkPad L13 Yoga Gen 4) are procured as an Enhanced Device Bundle, which come with a 3-year warranty and 3-year insurance and allow for two repairs or one replacement.
Lenovo warranty warrants that each device is free from defects in materials and workmanship for the limited warranty period of 3 years.

The PLD insurance covers damage to or loss of the device from the following, which are non-manufacturer defects or internal mechanical faults:

The 2023 school-prescribed PLD (Microsoft Surface Go 3) is procured as an Enhanced Device Bundle, which comes with a 3-year warranty and 3-year insurance and allows for 2 repairs or 1 replacement.
Microsoft warranty warrants that each device is free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use during the warranty period.
You can contact Microsoft Commercial Support via telephone or online case submission. You can find the detailed instructions here.
Microsoft Support will then communicate with you to decide whether the issue is covered under warranty.
If you need to make payment for the repair or replacement, you should contact the insurer for an insurance claim.

You can email the insurer (laptop@ins-solutions.com.sg) a copy of the service report and quotation for the repairs from Microsoft Support (with a clear indication of what is to be repaired e.g. screen, speaker etc). You may download the claim form here and complete it to attach it to your email.
After submitting the request for hardware support from the respective vendors, you may proceed to the NYGH ICT Control Room (Level 4, Science Block) to apply for a temporary PLD loan.
