《雨戏蕉林》

Inspired by Cantonese folk song 雨打芭蕉, the original folk song is fused with Indonesian Gamelan rhythm and tuning recreating a new work with a strong Indonesian flavour. From a mere few drop of falling rain in its ever mysterious setting, the banana leaves in a plantation danced and  swayed along. The drizzle progressed towards the annual monsoon with fierce intensity pelting on the leaves. Then, immediately after the rain, the plantation once again stands strong and fresh gleaming towards the glow of the sun after baptised with water.
