Logistics

All logistics can be found in the Guides room and the Guides store.

Procedure for borrowing and returning logistics

The Guiders, Exco and Quartermistresses all have authorisation to draw the Guides room key from the General Office.

To borrow keys from the Exco, Quartermistresses, or the Guiders, please politely and respectfully text or email them in advance and arrange a time to borrow the keys and a time to return the keys to them (preferably within the same day). Remember to also state your purpose for entering the Guides room or Guides store.

All logistics must be accounted for when borrowed and returned to the Guides room and store. 

The Guides room may be opened to check for sufficient logistics a few days prior to the CCA session (there may not always have sufficient logistics), before the CCA session to borrow and prepare logistics for later, and after the CCA session to return and pack logistics.

The Guides store contains dangerous equipment, and therefore the keys are only available to the Guiders. It may be opened only at the permission of the Guiders, usually opened only right before and after Outdoor Cooking sessions or Campfire sessions to borrow firelighting equipment.

Reminders

• Please help keep the Guides room and store clean, neat and tidy.

• Please take good care of the keys and do not lose them.

• Please remember to lock up the Guides room and store, and close the Guides room windows when you are the last person leaving, no matter if someone else will be coming soon.

• To report broken logistics, please inform the Guiders, Exco, or Quartermistresses.
