Digital Music using Chrome Music Lab

What's your favourite song at the moment? Have a go at replicating it (playing it) on the Chrome Music Lab Song Maker.

This activity should take you a good hour to complete properly.

Check out the video below to see how to use Song Maker.

When you have finished, email your song to Mrs. Watson: sylviaw@nxschool.kiwi

Please remember to add the link to your music to your google doc or folder as you need to save it for Spotlight.

CHROME MUSIC LAB: SONG MAKER

To make a song, add notes by clicking the grid. Then, share your song with a link. You can also use a MIDI keyboard or sing a note into a mic if you have either of these at home.

You can also use your computer keys. Press the arrow keys to move, enter and backspace to add and remove notes, and spacebar to play.

Click here to access a fresh Song Maker Page.

Click on the arrow in the top left corner below to see an example of Take on Me by A-Ha created by Cameron Beattie.

Don't forget to save and email Mrs Watson your song when you have finished!
