Northwestern University is one of the largest private higher education institutions in Northern Philippines. The university is dedicated to develop individuals to become highly competent, socially responsible, and ethically upright leaders.
The NWU Diagnostic Test consists of 3 subtests: English, Mathematics, and Science. Incoming first-year college students are given this test primarily to assess their proficiency in the three subject areas and to provide them with instructional support appropriate with their needs.
The diagnostic test is held from Monday to Friday at 8:00 a.m. and at 1:00 p.m. The testing area is located at the Testing Room beside Guidance Center. The slots for weekday schedule is now available. We will accommodate walk-in applicants for each testing session until all slots are filled.

Be at the venue at least 30 minutes before your testing time. Upon arrival on campus, proceed to the testing venue. Payment station and waiting area will be located there. You may approach our security personnel for directions.
Testing fee is Php 300. Please bring the exact amount, if possible.
Bring your school ID, pen, pencil, and eraser.
Read the instructions carefully.
Refrain from using electronic devices.
Review your answers and double-check for any unanswered items.
Once the enrollment opens for 1st Trimester A.Y 2026-2027, you can register at https://www.nwu.edu.ph/enroll
Secure all required documents for enrollment.
Upload authentic and clear copies of your documents.
Incoming freshmen students of the following programs are required to take Psychological Tests:
- BS Marine Transportation
- BS Marine Engineering
- BS Criminology
