Northwestern University Culinary Arts Program

Since its establishment on September 3, 2018, our Culinary Arts Program has been a beacon of culinary excellence. With Batch 8 on the horizon, the program reflects on its journey, proud to have nurtured culinary talents and fostered innovation.

The two-year Diploma program blends theory and practice, comprising 12 months of theory classes and a 12-month internship. Classes are held Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 3 pm, providing an optimal learning environment.

The first two months focus on core subjects such as Business Communication, Basic Accounting, Culinary Mathematics, and Restaurant Service Operations, among others, providing a strong theoretical base.

The subsequent ten months emphasize practical learning in culinary, baking, and pastry subjects, ensuring students master essential skills for professional kitchens.

Students embark on an internship locally, regionally (Thailand), or internationally (USA, France, Australia, Spain). Internship opportunities include a 6-month placement in France, assigned to Michelin-recognized/Michelin-listed properties and Michelin-starred chefs. Additionally, students have the chance to participate in a 12-month US J1 internship in 5-star hotels, resorts, and restaurants, including prestigious venues such as Marriott in Austin, Texas, and Florida, and One65 in San Francisco.

Enrollment requires a birth certificate and the transcript of records from the last school attended.

Join us in shaping the future of culinary excellence.
