KIDWIND

KidWind is a state and national competition that provides an opportunity for student teams to design and build a model wind turbine. The project focuses on science inquiry and engineering & design principles. Model turbines are tested in a wind tunnel and student teams are judge on creativity, engineering, and understanding of wind energy. Students at Northwestern High School who would like to form a team and participate in the KidWind project should contact Cinda Murray at cmurray@nwsd.org
