Ever want to be able to pick up an instrument and start to make music? The guitar is the ultimate beginner’s instrument: with a small amount of knowledge and a lot of practice, there are 100s of songs available to guitarists. Guitar Class teaches students the basic skills needed to become a lifelong guitar player. It is the goal of the class to give students a set of knowledge and skills that they may elect to continue performing on their own when the trimester ends. Skills such as music/tab/chord reading, song writing, and Guitar history are included. Units about history’s great guitarists are also incorporated.
