Join the City of Milwaukee for the Mayor’s Bike Ride on Thursday, June 5! The five-mile, morning ride will begin and end at Burnham Park, 1755 S. 32nd Street. Remarks from Mayor Cavalier Johnson will start at 8:30 a.m. and the ride will kick off shortly after.
If you own a bike, bring it! And arrive early if you need some quick repairs. The five-mile ride will wrap up back at Burnham Park by 10:00 a.m.

Arrive early to take advantage of the free mobile repair station staffed by DreamBikes and the WI Bike Fed - repairs are only available from 9:00am - 10:00am.

Milwaukee Recreation, in partnership with the Wisconsin Bicycle Federation, Tour of America’s Dairyland, Wisconsin High School Cycling League, Wisconsin Cycling Association, DreamBikes, and Wheel & Sprocket, will be hosting a one-day Cycling Celebration at Beulah Brinton Community Center to promote youth cycling in the Milwaukee community.

Bike Ride with the County Executive

Join County Executive David Crowley and the Wisconsin Bike Fed for Milwaukee’s longest-running weekly slow roll: Tuesday Night Rides!
The ride will begin at Zocalo Food Park and will be approximately 10 to 12 miles, with multiple short stops throughout. Attendees will ride through Milwaukee County roads, trails, and parks.
Please check your bike beforehand, especially if you have not ridden in a while. A helmet and lights are recommended. We will be moving at a slow-roll pace of 8-10 mph and no one will be dropped for pace or minor mechanical fixes.
The ride free and open to all abilities with no prior registration required.

It is a short, age-appropriate course with additional fun kids activities as part of the event.

Slow to moderate pace, with some hills. We ride to honor our History in the Bronzeville neighborhood. This ride may be challenging for children due to hills and the ride length.

Join us as we ride in our 5th Annual Black August Ride in partnership with Friends of Rose Park to commentate Black August and honor our political prisoners, activists, and fallen comrades. The ride will be 7-10 miles.

Join Red Bike & Green for our annual Blues Ride as we take the Oak Leaf and Interurban Trails to Grafton, WI home of the historic Paramount Records. "The farthest point on the Mississippi Blues Trail."
This is a 30 mile round trip. Bring a reusable water bottle and light snacks. Please come with your bike ready to ride - no repair station along the route. Please bring cash/card for food purchase. Ride not recommended for children under 10.

We will meet a Gordon Park, and in true Red Bike & Green fashion, we will add an "S" to the Gordon Park sign in honor of Gordon Parks, noted photographer, musician, writer, and film director, ergo The Gordon Parks Ride. Good times to be had by all!
The 10-mile ride will have stops along the way with opportunities for photos. Please bring a reusable water bottle. Not recommended for children under 12 due to length of the ride and lots of hills.

Poetry Pedalers Moonlight Ride

Join us on a night ride in partnership with the Milwaukee Public Library and 2025-26 Milwaukee Poet Laureate Shelly Conley. The ride features poetry by moonlight from Milwaukee's local poet scene at different locations along the route. Riders are encouraged to get creative with their bike lights. We recommend you to wear reflective clothing or vests along the route.
Ride departs at 7:30pm, route is 5-7 miles.
Creative use of bike lights are encouraged. This ride is co-organized with Milwaukee Poet Laureate, Shelly Conley.

Annual Fete Ghede Ride & Ancestor Celebration

AL's Blues Alley - 1743 N. 33rd St
Fete Ghede is the Haitian Voodoo celebration honoring life, death, and rebirth that corresponds to All Saints Day. This is the time to acknowledge our Ancestors through feasts and festivities. We will ride and visit neighborhood memorials adding flowers to the shrines of memorialized community members. Food and drink will be provided after the ride along with face painting before the ride if you come early. You may also show up with your face already painted.
The ride length is 5-6 miles. Ride will include stops along the way. Please bring a reusable water bottle along with photos of loved ones to honor them and/or flowers and candles to leave at memorial sites. Dress for the weather. Dress in purple, black, or white attire. This will be the final Red Bike & Green ride of the season.

WI Bike Fed Mobile Bike Repair Days
The Bike Fed offers free bicycle repairs in various parks throughout the summer! Each week they will be at a different location. Catch the Milwaukee Mobile Bike Repair crew at these locations across the city for free tune-ups and repairs. We can fix brakes, tires and inner tubes, shifters, chains, and more!
