Dear Parents and Guardians,
This website is designed to be a helpful space where you can view classroom assignments and homework and to answer that age old question: What did you do in school today? If your child is like mine the answer is always 'nothing.' This site is designed to display ONLY the assigments from the current week and week prior and require the manual input of the teacher. To err is human and teachers sometimes get sick. If you have questions please contact your teacher. This is a guide to help parent/teacher communication, that's all.
While you will find important updates and reminders here, all assignments and homework are also posted in Google Classroom for your child. Homework is listed in RED.
To help you access Google Classroom as a parent, please follow these steps:
How to Access Google Classroom
Open Google Classroom on your child's iPad.
Open the Class
Once logged in, click on the class name to view announcements, assignments, and due dates.
Check the “Classwork” Tab
This tab lists all assignments, organized by topic. You can click each one to see details, instructions, and due dates.
Frequently Asked Questions
My 8th grader takes a class with a HS teacher where are their assignments? Teachers that teach HS classes but have MS students are asked to only post HW that is assigned. For instance, if your child is an 8th grade student taking Spanish I for HS credit only HW assignments will be posted in the 8th grade section.
There seems to be a descrepancy between what is posted and what my child is telling me. If you have any questions about what is posted for that subject please email that teacher first. This is intended as a guide to aid parent/teacher communication and is not intended to absolve students of all responsibility of their work. It will take a village.
My teacher is usually up to date on his/her postings but I haven't seen anything lately. If you have questions, please email that teacher. In the event of a teacher absense due to illness we will not expect a sub to update the daily agenda. That may happen in the future, but this will be a continue work in progress.
