If you are interested in exploring the use of writing assistance tools in the teaching of writing, we invite you to join our informal network. We will be establishing a group for Ahead of the Code in the brand new Write Now Teacher Studio, opening June 3, and we will issue you an invitation. That group will serve as a hub for information about AOTC and events and opportunities.

What sorts of opportunities might come up?

In the Teacher Studio itself:

• online discussions about teaching with writing assistance tools

• updates on where the technology might be going in the future

• presentations and workshops by teachers and researchers on their work

In addition, we hope to connect network members with outside opportunities:

• opportunities to give feedback or otherwise work with developers

• collaborators on presentations at conferences or articles for professional publications

We also hope to continue the tradition of teacher inquiry we established this year.

• Just respond to the Ahead of the Code group invitation that we will send all conference participants once the Write Now Teacher Studio opens.
