Kurt is Executive Director and Clinical Supervisor at Center for Greater Healing. Kurt is a Licensed Independent Social Worker and earned his MSW from University of Toledo. Kurt is a trauma therapist and has completed advanced training in EMDR and IFS (Level 1 & 2). 

Through my own journey of identifying as queer and my own struggles with addiction and mental health, I have discovered how important it is to be represented by your treatment providers and to have spaces in which we can exist and be affirmed for who we truly are. It is my personal mission to improve the quality of life for members of the LGBTQ+ community in the Toledo and NW Ohio region. I have pursued this with a group of dedicated individuals who have helped to create the NW Ohio LGBTQ+ Coalition. Through our work in the coalition we hope to create grassroots change in our region and we hope to be able to improve communication and collaboration for our region. Last, but not least, we strive to provide a space for community members to feel seen, heard, and to get involved
