Joe Wood (He/Him) is a Toledo native who has passionately advocated and organized for local LGBTQ+ rights for 5+ years. He is a former Chair for Equality Toledo, the current Vice President of Lucas County Stonewall Democrats, and a proud member of the NW Ohio LGBTQ+ Coalition. Joe has also been working in public health for 5 years , promoting harm reduction as a strategy to end the opioid epidemic. His favorite hobbies include running and hiking. Joe joined the NW Ohio LGBTQ+ Coalition because it is grassroot, regional and community focused. Through the Coalition, Joe has been able to advocate for and elevate affirming healthcare practices.
