Build Your Own Badge

Is there something you are interested in learning more about or have been wanting to trying in your class? Well now you can Build Your Own Badge based on your personal passions.

Start by coming up with your idea for your badge. Once you have your idea complete the Build Your Own Badge Idea form linked below in order to get approval. TIP: We are looking for something related to your job and that should require at least one hour of work for the LEARN, DO and REFLECT sections.

Your badge must have the same three components as any other monthly badge; LEARN, DO, REFLECT. You will need to document these three sections in the Build Your Own Badge Template below. For the LEARN section you will document any websites you visited, videos you watched, and or articles/ books you read to learn more about your topic. For the DO section, you will need to describe what evidence you will collect to show that you tried something new. For example, this could be pictures of your students doing a new activity or using a new tech tool. For the REFLECT section you will come up with a reflection question for yourself to respond to in the comment section of this assignment.

Once you have completed your learning upload your Build Your Own Badge Template and any evidence from the DO section to this assignment. Post your reflect question and your response in the comment section of this assignment. Make sure to mark your assignment as done and then CELEBRATE YOUR LEARNING!!!
