MISSION STATEMENT
The Weisenberg Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization’s (PTO) mission is to promote and sustain a close relationship between the parents, teachers, and students by evolving opportunities within the home, school, and community. The PTO provides assistance to teachers in their classroom settings, holds fund-raisers for supplemental educational materials and experiences, advocates school and family social interaction, and provides an unbiased forum for sharing information on issues that impact Weisenberg Elementary students. The PTO is dedicated to improving and enriching the Weisenberg Elementary experience for every current and future Weisenberg student, while aiding them in achieving their highest potential.
The PTO strives to support the Weisenberg students, staff, and families by enhancing the academic and social environment of our school. All staff members at Weisenberg Elementary and all household members 18 years of age or older with a child enrolled in Weisenberg Elementary are members of the Weisenberg Elementary PTO. Participation of PTO members is vital to ensure that the following goals are fulfilled:
Complement school curricula by providing additional opportunities for students as they grow academically and socially.
Support innovation and creative teaching strategies that have a positive effect on student achievement.
Create a positive community spirit among the students, staff, and families of Weisenberg Elementary.
Provide a non-biased forum for parents to stay up-to-date and share information on Weisenberg events and educational issues.
Raise funds throughout the school year to support our mission.
