I grew up in Kutztown, PA with a younger sister and brother.  The three of us have great memories from growing up together.  We were all very involved in sports.  I love to play and watch various sports.  I especially like baseball/softball, basketball, field hockey and soccer.

I graduated from Cedar Crest College, and I completed my Master's Degree in Library Science from Kutztown University.  My first job was in 6th grade at Northwestern Lehigh Middle School.  After that, I taught 4th grade at Weisenberg Elementary for 6 years. Following 4th grade, I worked as the Gifted Support teacher in both of the elementary buildings for 3 years. This will be my 15th year as the High School Library Media Specialist! 

I have two children, Grant & Jade, who keep me very busy outside of school.  They are very involved in various sports and activities. You are likely to run into me at a sports field/court or at a tournament! I enjoy volunteering for their teams and school.

As a family, we love to travel.  We love to explore new places and hit a stadium or two along the way. Our goal is to visit as many as possible!
