All About Me

I am so excited to be your Emotional Support Teacher this school year! We will be spending time together in your homeroom classes and in my classroom as well. This is my second school year at Northwestern Elementary School.

I earned my master's degree in Special Education (PreK-12) from Lehigh University in May 2022 and my bachelor's degree in General Education (PreK-4) from Kutztown University in May 2019. While earning my master's, I worked at Centennial School of Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA, a school that services students with Emotional Behavior Disorders (EBD) and autism. While there, I learned about various teaching practices focused on effective instruction and behavior management.

I am a big fan of using technology to enhance learning in the classroom and had the opportunity to strengthen my skills by attending the Keystone Technology Innovators (KTI) Summit in the summer of 2021. While attending, I joined PAECT and learned about coding, STEM, various applications, and technology-based tools to use in the classroom. I also participated in Keystone Together In Cyberspace (KTI-C) in the summer of '22 and '23 to continue learning about new technology and resources.
