Having me in your life is one thing, but letting me into your finances can be quite personal. Let me tell you a little bit about myself.
I believe in working hard, being honest, and treating people with respect. Those values came from my Dad, who taught me by example what dedication and strong work ethic look like.
As I grew up, I wanted a career that would allow me to balance my love of the outdoors, spend time with my family, and still have a fulfilling career. That can be hard to find.
I moved to Oregon in 2013 and started working with a wonderful friend who had what I thought was the dream job — she was a licensed tax preparer. I admired the way she balanced her work and personal life. We used to joke that if we ever went into business together, we could “take over the world.” Haha! While she continued building her career, I stayed on the standard 40-hour-a-week path.
This year, everything changed. Due to a health condition, I realized I needed to prioritize work-life balance and finally pursue the dream I had carried for years. With 15+ years of experience in accounting and financial-related work, I opened Northwest Bookkeeping and Tax Services LLC in February.
I’m excited to see where this journey leads as I continue to grow, and I’m grateful for the people and clients I have the opportunity to work with along the way.
