Instructions for submission

1. Add screenshot or app of your map with project locations in the Louisville, Kentucky District 

2. Add a screenshot or app of your map with all project locations in the Great lakes and Ohio River Division

3. Add a paragraph of what information is displayed in each map you added to your site.

This map displays the location of all projects headed up by the United State Army Corps Engineers specific to the Louisville, Kentucky District.  Each dot on the map represents a project.  This map was created by uploading a file of USACE projects across the United States and then filtering those data points in ArcGIS to only display Louisville Kentucky District. 

This map displays all projects headed up by the USACE in a larger division, not just one district.  Through the same process of uploading the file in ArcGIS and using the filtering tool to only display the certain data points that are desired, this map shows all projects headed up by the USACE in the Great Lakes and Ohio River Division.  Understanding the method used to name all districts and divisions allows us to use the filter tool in ArcGIS to display the information.  All districts in the Great Lakes and Ohio River Division start with the letters LR and by changing the way we filter the data uploaded into ArcGIS we are able to display that information the way you see it.
