Ngakonui Valley School is proud to provide freshly prepared lunches on site for our students. This initiative ensures our tamariki have access to nutritious, wholesome meals each day to support their learning and wellbeing. Our dedicated cooks, Kerry and Carrie, do an exceptional job preparing and serving lunches for the school community.

We operate on a two-week rotating menu that runs throughout the term, offering a range of balanced and appealing options. Student voice is an important part of our programme, and we regularly seek feedback from our tamariki to understand what they enjoy most and to help guide menu adjustments for the following term. This collaborative approach helps us continue to provide meals that are both nourishing and well-loved.

School uniforms are required to worn at all times. During Terms 1 and 4, we have a strict no hat, no play policy.

Our school uniform is available from the office. Please see the office staff to purchase polo shirts, fleeces or sun hats. You will find our pricing list here. Our school also stocks limited second hand uniforms. 

We also ask all students to wear black shoes, black trousers, shorts or skirts and if cold, a black thermal under their school top.
