Parent Information

The NVS Information booklet is a comprehensive guide for parents on the day to day running of the school and is updated on a regular basis. If you have any questions not covered in the booklet please do not hesitate to contact us.

Ngakonui Valley School has lunches provided to all students under the New Zealand Government Ka Ora, Ka Ako lunches in schools programme. The provider assigned to NVS is Lunch by Libelle and they deliver fresh lunches to our school each day. You can view the latest weekly menus on their website. Special dietary options are available such as vegetarian, gluten free, dairy free etc.

Each Friday we have do a Sausage Sizzle and Ice Blocks available ($2.00 each) with all proceeds going towards school fundraising.

School uniforms are required to worn at all times. During Terms 1 and 4, we have a strict no hat, no play policy.

Our school uniform is available from the office. Please see the office staff to purchase polo shirts, fleeces or sun hats. You will find our pricing list here. Our school also stocks limited second hand uniforms. 

We also ask all students to wear black shoes, black trousers, shorts or skirts and if cold, a black thermal under their school top.
