What's Happening At Napa Valley Center for Spiritual Living
Beginning January
Being a parent, grandparent, or caregiver means giving so much of yourself every day. It’s beautiful, but it’s also intense, overstimulating, and sometimes overwhelming.
This is why mindfulness isn’t optional for parents — it’s essential. When you take moments to reconnect, breathe, and come back to yourself, your child feels that calm through you. Your presence becomes their sanctuary.
Zen Together is a welcoming space where you practice mindfulness while your little one is free to play, explore, join in certain practices in their own way, or simply be near you. You’ll be guided through practices such as breathing, tapping, meditation, sound healing, somatics, reiki, visualization, and coaching — all designed to support your clarity, presence, self-awareness, and groundedness while being mindful of your child’s needs.
When I Put Myself First, I Put My Family First.
Invest in Yourself
Zen Together was created by Dawn, a Napa mom and licensed mindfulness practitioner for the Center for Spiritual Living Napa, offering mindfulness experiences and mindset coaching for parents with their children ages 0–5.
Dawn facilitates the Sunday Mindfulness Club for kids at the Center for Spiritual Living Napa and is a Certified Life Coach, Group Coach, Inspirational Speaker, and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) practitioner with Marjorie Dawn Coaching. Her work is grounded in formal mindfulness training and practical tools that support awareness, presence, and mindset.
Alongside her mindfulness and coaching credentials, Dawn brings 25 years of international experience as an Executive Producer in the tech and gaming industry. She worked across the UK, Canada, and the United States and held senior roles at companies including Activision-Blizzard, 2K, and Capcom. She was accountable for large, complex projects and led globally recognised franchises including James Bond, LEGO, Skylanders, Call of Duty, PGA TOUR, and other major titles.
Her work frequently intersected with Hollywood-level production, including collaborations with film licensors, composers, voice actors, and creative teams connected to major studios and global entertainment brands. She began her career without a degree, starting in an administrative role and working her way into senior leadership in a male-dominated industry, often as the only woman in the room.
Today, Dawn brings the wisdom earned from decades of leadership, along with her mindfulness training, into her work with parents and their young children, creating shared experiences rooted in presence during the earliest years of life.
Live more calmly, more presently, and more joyfully as a parent this January — and bring your child with you.

What You’ll Experience
During each 1-hour session, you’ll enter a calm, supportive environment that gives you full permission to slow down. Dawn will guide you through mindfulness and coaching practices created for you — while making space for your child to interact, play, observe, or be themselves in the room.
Group mindfulness amplifies the experience, helping you drop more deeply into presence than when practicing alone.
Each session offers a practical tool, insight, or action you can bring into your daily rhythm as a parent or caregiver.
At Zen Together, you never have to worry about your child making noise or moving around. Their presence is part of the practice. When you regulate, they co-regulate. When you are mindful, they feel it — a resonance that becomes even more powerful in community.
Each session may include:
Dance meditation
Seated mindfulness meditation
Sound healing (kept at a safe, low volume)
Affirmations
EFT / Tapping
Breath practices
Visualization
Manifestation & mindfulness coaching
Somatics
Reiki
