What are Nevada Student Ambassadors?
We are a professional organization of 60+ students who volunteer with the recruitment and public relations efforts at the University of Nevada, Reno.
We serve as a bridge between the University and prospective students/families by giving campus tours and participating in official recruitment events.
As Ambassadors, we are able to address a multitude of questions through our own experiences and perspectives as students.
Member Duties
Weekly 90 minute campus tour at a designated tour time.
Attendance at monthly meetings.
Participation in committees.
Attendance at the annual Summer and Winter retreats.
Participation in at least 2 NevadaBound events each semester.
Assistance at both Fall and Spring commencement ceremonies.
Participation in one required fundraiser each semester.
Additional Opportunities:
Leadership opportunities (committee chairs or directorship)
Volunteer/service opportunities both on and off campus

Outside of Tours
We aren't just a group of tour guides, we are also a community of friends who love to be around each other!
