On January 26, 2020 the tragic death of Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna Bryant shocked people around the world. That includes his wife Vanessa Bryant, but the way she found out was actually on TMZ not from a hospital or a report.
Bryant wanted to make sure that any of the families involved in the crash would get the help they need by setting up a website. Where people could go and donate to help the families. She also stated to further Gianna and Kobe legacy she also listed where you can donate to support youth sports.
Aaron Carranza, a freshman at NW was struck by the tragic accident, and was planning on donating two both organizations. Carranza stated, “This was a very tragic event, and if my family was in that position I would try to get as much help as I could get.”
Jocelyn Gaona. A freshman at NW did hear about the incident but wasn’t as affected, because she never saw him as an influence. “ Although it was a very tough situation and I would try to donate but not as much as I would for someone I truly look up to.”
