As we begin a new year here at Northwest, one of the things many students may look forward to is the clubs. From the variety we have here, clubs give students the opportunity to be involved while making friendships and memories. Some clubs also give students the opportunity to appreciate and represent their own culture, like Sol Club.
As Sol Club returns to Northwest, many are excited for what they will bring this upcoming year. For those who may be searching for a community to be a part of here at our school, you may want to consider our Sol Club.
“I would tell anyone who’s thinking of joining to definitely give Sol club a try! We're really open to everyone, regardless of who they are or how much experience they may have.” Sol Club president, Emily Avalos, states.
Not only is Sol Club a place for many to enjoy and have fun, but it also gives voice to Hispanic culture and the beauty of dances, traditions, and more. Sol Club can also bring many new friendships and memories.
“The Sol club really opens the doors to new friendships and helps you make great memories with your friends, whether that be old ones or new ones,” Avalos states.
This new school year, if you’re considering after-school clubs, visit and take a look at Sol Club.
