On September 5th, 2025, students, teachers, and active club members came together after school to help sell art and raise money for their clubs. People who bought tickets had a large variety of things to buy, such as food, art, dirty sodas, jewelry, and much more.
There being over 30 booths overall, every single group sold something different and unique to them, which ranged all the way from jewelry to Labubu art.
Daniel Rodales is a junior this year. This is his first year being a part of the student council. He's super excited to be here for the First Friday with all of his new student council members and friends. They are selling pins, bracelets, and even more delicious dirty soda. Although, he does have some improvements to make.
“My favorite part, right now, because I am a part of the student council, is getting to sell stuff. I am coming with some of my friends.” Rodales smiled. “ One tip I would have is definitely to add more booths. I think they could add a lot more and have them in the quad instead of all outside.”
Liam Alejandrino, a junior in engineering, came to First Friday to just have a good time and hang out with his friend Josiah.
“I wanted to go for the experience because it's something new, but my favorite part of it so far is getting a matcha.” Alejandrino laughed. “I just really wish they did a lot of the booths and stuff more inside because it can get so hot.”
Nateila Leyva, a junior in veterinary science, went to the booths to buy food.
“I really liked the dirty soda. I got a Baja Blast one and ended up buying some jew,” Leyva smirked. “I just wish my booths were inside, like in the gym or even the banquet hall, because it was way too hot.”
