Many children miss out on the chance to socialize with others, which could affect their future. Amusement parks bring joy with different rides and prizes while giving children an opportunity to socialize.
Amusement parks have many benefits to children. Going to an amusement park can help in so many ways, it gives children a way to build their physical endurance. An amusement park can improve physical endurance by teaching kids to jump, balance, and climb using different games that keep kids entertained and interested. Amusement parks also encourage emotional development by helping kids realize it’s okay to be scared but not to let fear take over.
“Some of the benefits would be to have fun and have an adrenaline rush as well as it’s fun to go with friends and socialize,” Adyson Hummel stated.
Hummel, a sophomore at Northwest Career and Technical Academy, was one of the few children who could visit an amusement park. She believes that going to amusement parks could help give kids that adrenaline burst and release their energy.
“Going to the amusement park could affect a kid by giving them an experience that will always have that childlike innocence to it,” Sanyu Lutale explained, “they can look back on that memory and remember how they felt, and it’s not really possible to do so if they go to the park.”
Lutale, another sophomore at Northwest, was also able to go to an amusement park and she had a positive experience when she went. She believes that being able to go and socialize helped her become very social and as a teen she is able to make friends with ease.
“It could benefit someone’s mood because at an amusement park, you can just be yourself with the people you love. You get to go on fun rides, eat good food, and get to have that entire experience kind of reset.” Rose Viray, another sophomore at Northwest expressed.
