Kesha, the singer who is worth $6 million dollars, has recently dropped a new album, High Road. The album was released on january 31st, a 15 minute song which adds up to 49 minutes. The album’s genre is pop and has a happy vibe to it.
The intro to the album starts out with a song called “tonight” and starts out with a sad vibe which then switches into a better vibe and starts to become catchy. The song is 3 minutes and 16 seconds which is average for a song and has lyrics that are understandable. The song ends off great with a nice ending
The album features Big Freeda, Sturgill Simpson, Brian Wilson, and Wrabel which are also pop singers. The songs including features are really catchy since there is a switch in lyrics. I enjoyed the feature song, “BFF” since it had a happy vibe. The song had a nice beat and a nice beginning. Kesha and Wrabel finished each others sentence in the song and it was unique.
The songs without features were good. The song, “The potato song” was the best song out of the album since it was showing how she is leaving all the drama and starting a new life. Kesha also talks about building a potato farm and eating cake all day which gives motivation to do something. The potato song is a great and catchy song.
High Road by Kesha was overall a good album, the beats, the lyrics, and the vibes were amazing. The songs were not too long nor too short. The songs were very similar but were very different at the same time. Although very little, strong language is included in the album and should be listened to by the listeners discretion. I recommend this album to those who need to feel good about themselves and need a pick me up.
