Disney+, an international online streaming service owned and operated by The Walt Disney Company, was released on November 12, 2019. Costing only $6.99 a month, it has gained many fans.
On its first day, Disney+ was released with 500 movies and 7,500 TV shows, and according to CNET, signed up over 10 million subscribers. The service provides movies and shows with any relation to Disney, which includes Marvel, Pixar, and even National Geographic.
Disney+ has a very large audience. People of every difference may enjoy Disney classics, and it is the same for Disney plus. Disney+ will be available in more than the current five countries sometime after March.
Disney+ is available like every other service and can be used on nearly every current device. It is very compatible with all smart phones and TVs.
In general, most people find Disney+ very similar to Netflix and other streaming services, so it can be hard to choose a favorite. Giulia Mauro, an eighth-grade student, says, “There are different reasons to like each of them, so it isn’t easy to compare them.”
Many students agree that Disney+ was a good decision, loving the compilation of all the movies they used to watch as kids. “They have most of the older things... all of the originals. So if you're looking for nostalgia,... it is very good!” Mauro stated happily.
Disney+ can be enjoyed by a large group as well. Many students have been able to make an account and, by getting a few friends together, have easily shared the account. Considering how cheap the service is and depending on how many people are in the group, people might even be able to take turns paying for each month.
Overall, Disney+ is nice for everyone, and many people encourage others to try it out.
