At The Top Or Flop

The new movie 'Avatar: Fire and Ash' has been enjoyed by millions of viewers worldwide, making it the third addition to the successful 'Avatar' movie series.

While the franchise is known for its visuals and imagination, reactions to the newest film are very mixed. 

Some fans praise the action and new characters, while others say the continued storyline made them very emotional. Although some expectations were met with the new addition, some were not. 

Grace Lawson said that she was expecting the new 'Avatar' movie to be similar to the others, “but it exceeded my expectations.” 

Although in ‘Fire and Ash’, the character conflict has caused emotional strain for the viewers. 

Freshman Mia Naranjo stated that she didn’t want “anyone dying, so no, the movie did not meet my expectations.” 

Specifically, character development and cliffhangers did play into the interest that fans show in ‘Fire and Ash.’

“I want to see if Spider is going to turn blue like the Avatars,” Mia said. 

Even though some do believe that there are a lot of new elements in continuing the series, others believe the opposite. 

“It’s just a filler so it makes the movie longer,” Alexander Hamdan complained. 

Some watchers enjoy other movies in the series compared to the newest one, especially the original, because it introduced the whole storyline. 

“It sets up the story,” freshman Leo Luke said, “giving great quality and amazing storytelling that the others just don't replicate.”
