I was born and raised here in the Las Vegas Valley. I entered the Clark County School district as a kindergartner at Pat Diskin Elementary School in Spring Valley. Diskin Elementary is home of the cougars too, so it seems quite fitting that I now return to this "Den."
Like all of the freshman students in my classes, I am a relatively new, "second-year" Coronado Cougar. I spent the first 21 years of my career at Basic High School where I taught a variety of science courses at all grade levels.
In my free time, I love spending time with my family & friends and I especially love to travel. My favorite trips are out in nature and I aspire to visit as many National Parks as possible throughout my lifetime.
I look forward to getting to know my new students and I hope I am successful in proving to all students that Earth, along with all of its living things, are more extraordinary and awe-inspiring than they might have ever imagined!
