Referrals

The Clark County School District provides Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) programming to eligible students in grades 3-5 who score at or above the 98th percentile on qualifying tests or obtain a score of at least 15 on the Nevada state matrix. The Highly Gifted (HG) Program provides individualized programming for identified students. 

Anyone can refer a student for gifted services. Please review the Characteristics of Gifted and Talented Children before referring. A referral may or may not lead to testing. Contact you child's classroom teacher or the school's GATE specialist for more information.
