Behavior Plan

Silvestri Seven in the Science Classroom

At Silvestri Jr. High School we use a progressive discipline approach; however, we also use a positive approach to behavior which is called the Silvestri Seven. Students should be:

  • polite (use a kind voice and treat others with respect)
  • positive (don't be afraid to fail, you can always learn something new and grow from the experience)
  • prompt (arrive to class ontime)
  • prepared (have your chromebook charged, pencil and paper, and others supplies as needed or required)
  • productive (make good use of your time in class, that way you won't have to do make-up work at home)
  • provide praise (bring people up and support them as you work in groups)
  • and have perseverance (develop a 'stick with it' attitude)
