In second grade the students are expected to master the addition and subtraction math facts. Every week the students will take a math fact fluency quiz with addition and subtraction problems, and a grade will be taken on this test. They will have 90 seconds to complete 20 problems. 

Every week students will also be taking a subtraction math fact test. They will have one minute to complete 20 problems. When students pass these tests they will earn their subtraction charms. The tests below are practice tests that are similar to the weekly tests that students will take. 

After passing all of the subtraction facts, the students will work on the addition facts.  Once students have passed the subtraction and addition facts, they will work on the multiplication and then the division facts.
