WHAT IS INTERIOR DESIGN?

Interior Design students learn to plan and execute innovative designs for both residential and commercial spaces. Combining creativity with problem-solving skills, students work both individually and in groups to create and present floor plans, scale models, and design boards that meet client needs and expectations. Learning experiences include field trips, real and simulated client scenarios, and guest design instructors. Armed with a digital portfolio and a solid foundation in architectural styles, furnishings and design principles, graduates are prepared for entry-level work in the fields of residential and commercial interior design.
