What is the School Organizational Team (SOT)?

Each school in the Clark County School District will create a School Organizational Team which will assist the principal in making important decisions impacting the school. This team will be made up of elected licensed staff, education support professionals, parents/guardians, and students (at the secondary level), as well as one or more optional, non‐elected community members. Cultural diversity reflective of the student population should be considered. 

The School Organizational Team is responsible for:

Speakers wishing to speak during the public comment period for the meetings may email englijl@nv.ccsd.net or use the form entitled "SOT Comment Form" below.  All requests for comment must be recieved by 12:00 PM on the day of the meeting. Speakers will be called in order in which they signed up. No one may sign up for another person or yield their time to another person. Generally, a person wishing to speak during the comment period will be allowed two (2) minutes to address the School Organizational Team. Speakers may also submit additional comments in writing. It is asked that speakers be respectful to each other, Team Members, the principal and school district staff. Speakers that are disruptive will be asked to leave the meeting.
