Your Miner Football Team is officially the first-time, first-ever Division III Champions. After a hard-fought 46-42 win over Valley HS, Coach Achord and the team lifted the trophy.
Congratulations to the entire team!.
Our boys' soccer team takes on SLAM on Tuesday, 10/27 in a rematch of last year's NIAA 4A championship game. Our Miners took the championship last year 2-0 and are entering the game as back-to-back 4A Lake Division Champions.
Kickoff is at 6pm at the stadium, so please come out and support our team in their quest to become back-to-back 4A champions
The Three Square Produce Giveaways are back! Three Square is partnering with Communities in Schools (CIS) to provide our families and students with fresh produce.
The location of the giveaways will be the East Parking Lot (2575 Los Feliz Street) near the Visitor's entrance of the football field. The giveaway will start at 7:45 a.m. on select days. The next giveaway is this on Thursday, October 29th.
The produce will be given away on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

STUCCO organized a Halloween-themed spirit week for all students, culminating in this week's trunk-or-treat event. Please see the flyers for details.
If you or your child have questions regarding their costumes and whether it would be school-appropriate, have them ask in the 800 office.
Trunk or Treat.pdfSenior Night will be on November 4th from 4:00 p.m.to 7:00 p.m. Seniors will be able to meet with colleges and career or trade schools, and order their cap and gown from Herff Jones.
Scholarship assistance will also be available that night for students.

Project 150's Holiday Meal requests are back. The form on the website for Holiday Meal requests is now open -- Please only the student or parent should complete the online form to avoid duplicate ordering.
Also note the following information:
Meals will be delivered directly to the designated high school – no changes can be made after the order has been submitted online. If they go back in and create another order – BOTH orders will be deleted.
All questions should be directed to the email HolidayMeals150@gmail.com and allow for 24 hours for a response.
Only one meal box per household– ONLY HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS.
Only one order is permitted – multiples will cause all orders to be deleted.
Online form will be open until we reach capacity of 2000 or the cutoff date of November 1 – NO phone or email requests will be allowed.
Delivery dates are Nov 19th and Dec 16th between 9am – 3pm.
No other pickup date/location options are available
Speaking of Project 150, their scholarship program is also available.
2026 Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix / CCSD Art Contest
The Las Vegas Grand Prix invites CCSD students to submit artwork for a chance to win cash prizes and have their artwork featured at the 2026 race. The art contest theme is “Formula 1 Racing Through Las Vegas.” We have provided some inspirational imagery, linked below, to help students understand what a Formula 1 car looks like, but we encourage students to be imaginative and use their creativity!

Iconic parts of the Strip Circuit
Las Vegas Blvd Straightaway

Specifications: Vertical 2:3 ratio (see template – please note the dotted line, ensure that important aspects of the art are not placed in this area as it may be covered with student name and school) – Horizontally oriented submissions will not be accepted.
Requirements: Hand crafted art, digital artwork will not be accepted.
Timeline: The contest is open now through October 23, 2026. Original artwork must be returned to CCSD no later than October 30, 2026.
Prizes: Four elementary, four middle and four high school students will be selected and each awarded $500 toward their school art program. High school students will also receive $1,000 scholarships. Winners will be notified by CCSD.
The winning artwork will be printed on large 55”x85” vinyl clings to be displayed in the Paddock Club stairwell at Grand Prix Plaza:
On October 23rd, there is a Construction Career Day where students can explore and gain information about various careers related to construction. If students are interested in signing up, they should speak to their counselor or Ms. Stephanie in the College and Career Center.

To do so, please create and verify your account at the link above, select CCSD (Clark County School District, add your student, and shop for course fees in the school store.

The Student Success Office wants to send along the following reminders:
Sunrise Mountain High School's Dress Code Policy is in effect. Please refer to the image Dress Code poster on the left side. Students found in violation of the Dress Code may be provided with SMHS clothes to change into for the duration of the school day.
ALL students will be required to have a student ID. Replacement IDs will cost $5 each (the first replacement will be free). These IDs are used to get into the building and for scanning into classrooms for attendance and hall passes. Please make sure your student has theirs with their belongings before they leave for school. If they need an ID, please click this link or scan the QR Code under the Resources tab.
Also, E-bikes and E-Scooters, as well as their non-electric courterparts, must be locked up either at the bike rack by the football field or at the North Doors by the entrance. Students in need of a lock can purchase one in the main office. No scooters or bikes will be allowed in the building due to safety concerns.
Food deliveries will also not be allowed on campus. Students needing lunch may get it from the cafeteria. Snacks from vending machines as well as from our school store are also available for purchase.
