As part of the Eldorado HS Multidisciplinary Team, the Safe School Professional is available to provide crisis intervention services for students on campus experiencing a mental health crisis. Additionally, Safe School Professional are involved in Re-entry planning for students who return from mental health facilities to provide appropriate supports at the school level. The Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT) was created to provide crisis intervention and support to Nevada families dealing with a behavioral or mental health crisis. For so long, families have had no choice but to go to the emergency room due to lack of resources or knowledge of available resources. MCRT responds to youth and families of youth in crisis, over the phone or in person, in order to reduce emergency room visits and ensure everyone receives the proper care.
