Teen Support Line
The Nevada Teen Peer Support Text Line is a stigma-free, non-crisis peer support text service for adolescents and young adults aged 14 to 24 years old. Youth can text 775-296-8336 from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. 7 days a week to be connected for a one-on-one text conversation with a young adult Peer Wellness Operator. The Nevada Teen Peer Support Text Line is confidential and staffed by trained young adult peers in recovery who provide support from lived experience to youth impacted by mental illness or life stressors.
Students may experience ups and downs in their mental health and well-being, which is a natural part of adolescent development. At the same time, adolescence is often the time that individuals may experience the initial onset of mental health illness and disorders such as anxiety or depression. These resources offer information and resources on topics central to health and wellness as well as mental health issues that students may confront.
