Clark County School District (CCSD) works with community organizations that support students with disabilities and their families. These resources can help families learn about services, find support, and connect with programs that promote health, learning, friendships, and independence. Families may choose to use any of these services based on their child’s needs. Participation is optional, and these resources are available to support families both in and out of school.
Nevada Blind Children’s Foundation is a nonprofit dedicated to educational, social, and life-skills programs for children who are blind or visually impaired. They offer specialized curriculum, extracurricular activities, social opportunities, and transitional resources to help students build confidence and independence.

Nevada PEP is a statewide nonprofit organization that supports families of children with disabilities from birth through age 26. Nevada PEP offers information, training, workshops, and one-on-one guidance to help families understand special education, navigate systems, and confidently advocate for their children’s needs.
A free-lending library designed to support those with documented special needs.
Thousands of titles include a diverse selection of educational books, DVDs, games, and tools addressing: Autism, Behavior Management, Blindness, Deafness, Developmental Delays, Language Delays, and more.
Materials available on loan to teachers, families, and those serving individuals with special needs.
CCSD supports the mission of Special Olympics to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
Through a long-standing partnership, Special Olympics Nevada and CCSD's Adapted Physical Education department implement the Unified Champion Schools program in over 150 schools.
