2026 NV ACDA Middle School All-State Required Forms (Due February 7: upload here)
The ACDA Nevada Middle School All-State Choir and Conference is scheduled for April 23 -24, 2026 in Las Vegas, Nevada on the campus of UNLV. NV ACDA will include choir students from all/any Nevada middle schools. In this packet you will find the necessary forms and information needed to include your students in this year’s Middle School All-State Choir. We look forward to hearing from you and working with your students!
To have your students participate, you must first become a current and up-to-date member or already be a member of ACDA. Once you have become a member of ACDA, simply keep your membership up to date by paying your membership dues every year. You can become a member and be eligible to have your students participate in the Middle School All State Choir by going to the NVACDA website.
There is no audition process for this choir. ACDA is requesting directors to nominate /select no more the 2 sopranos, 2 altos, 4 tenors and 4 basses that represent the BEST from your choir program. By BEST we are asking for the best-behaved, trustworthy, outstanding, and talented citizens of the school and of your choir program. If you do not have 12 students to nominate, please nominate as many as you can up to 12 students, but no more than the 4 total girls or the 8 total boys as requested. **If any participating students are not traveling as a group from their school, their parents must be named as their Event Chaperone and are responsible for all arrangements, transportation and supervision at all breaks, meals, rehearsals, and events. Here is the nomination process:
1. Please check with all singers and chaperones that they fit the NVACDA All State requirements. (Behavior expectations, rehearsal availability, etc.)
2. Fill out Teacher Nomination google form, NV ACDA Middle School All-State Nomination Form no later than January 28, 2026
3. Once the nomination form is submitted the director will need to visit the NVACDA website to register and pay for student and teacher fees.
4. Payments and All-State forms (Code of Conduct/Attendance, Media Release & Chaperone) should be uploaded into the following google form no later than February 7, 2026.
5. An Event Chaperone must be selected – we suggest that this Event Chaperone be a choir parent who is willing and able to attend all events with your students so that you, their director, are available to attend the interest sessions at the NVACDA All-State conference if present. **There are no fees for non-director Event Chaperones, but they must still register and receive a name badge.
6. Hotel Arrangements for traveling directors, students, and event chaperones ONLY: Directors must make their own hotel reservations and arrangements for themselves, participating students and Event Chaperones. All hotel information can be found on the NVACDA website.
7. Once ALL fees and forms have been submitted for your participating students, you will receive a link for music to be performed and any rehearsal notes in preparation for the performance via google drive. Real copies of music will be distributed to students at the first rehearsal. Practice tracks will be accessible through the NVACDA website:
8. Music must be learned and memorized upon their arrival at their first rehearsal on Thursday, April 23, 2026.
** Any students who require overnight accommodation and have directors that cannot come to the NV ACDA All-State Conference can still participate if their parent acts as their event chaperone and always oversee their student. The director must still be a current ACDA member, complete their portion of the student nomination Form, provide parents with hotel information and work with the student to learn the music before traveling to NVACDA All-State. Parents are then responsible for all transportation to and from the All-State Conference.
