About the Instructor

My name is Amy Lutz. I have taught in CCSD for 19 years. Before moving to the high school level, I taught seventh grade English for 13 years.

I am married and I also have the most wonderful cat ever named Sophie. She's the sweetest little orange tabby who has been with me for 18 years.

Anyone who knows me, knows that I LOVE KU men's basketball. I am a huge fan and love to travel to March Madness each year. Go Jayhawks!

I also like the beach, naps, reading, tv/movies, and, honestly, doing nothing whenever I can get away with it.
