About Me

I have taught history for 18 years. Although born and raised in San Francisco, CA, I have lived in Las Vegas for over 30 years. I am an alumni of both the University of California at Berkeley, and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. I have taught at Sierra Vista since 2016. I have 2 children who both graduated from high schools in the Clark County School District, My younger son graduated from Coronado in 2023 and my older son graduated from Sierra Vista in 2022.  My wife is an administrator at Selma Bartlett ES in Henderson. I enjoy teaching social studies and I am a firm believer that knowing the past is key to understanding the present, and understanding the present is a wise goal for anyone living in our world today.
