Meet the Director

About Mr. Wilkin

G. Andrew Wilkin is currently the Director of Bands at Bob Miller MS in the Clark County School District in Las Vegas, NV.  As an educator of over 10 years, he has had an extremely diverse and multifaceted teaching career; with public school experience teaching band, strings, general music, and choir to all grades ranging from PK-12 in Ohio, Nevada, and Virginia.  Also an active percussion instructor, he has helped direct more than a half dozen marching & concert percussion programs to local, regional, and national awards & championships.  He is also an active performer, clinician, arranger, and adjudicator throughout the United States.  He currently resides in Henderson, NV with his wife and 2 daughters.

Mr. Wilkin received his Bachelor of Music Performance and Bachelor or Music Education from THE Ohio State University, and his Master of Education in English Language Learning at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
