Mr. LaCombe
I go by a lot of names, but Mr. LaCombe is the most common. I've been teaching for over 20 years and I absolutely love my career!
My district is in a budget shortfall and I am trying to raise money to help my school. I could sit back and do nothing about it, but I have made a decision to do my best to make a difference. You can't be successful if you don't try! Specifically I'm doing this because I care about my colleagues and the students we serve, but selfishly though, I use A LOT OF PAPER AND TONER!!!
One thing I do different is our classes do WALKABOUTS while learning new concepts and information. This is why I use so much paper and toner. I do this for several reasons. This allows brain breaks, increased oxygen and blood flow to the brain, new locations allow the loci method to help learning, and finally the Serial Position Effect (more beginnings and endings).

Birthday Messages Build Rapport!
Birthdays are important and I try to acknowledge as many as I can throughout the schoolyear. I have my students fill out a form which has their interests, wishes, and dreams and use those as inspiration for my AI images. I do my best using AI to fulfill them and send them out on their birthdays. It has really made a difference in building quality relationships! Money tends to be the most popular of requests, so it can get tricky trying to make original ones that are different and unique.
I am aware that not all students approve of using AI, so I also provide birthday horoscope video messages for those students who do not want an AI birthday message.

I really love dress up days! Why not enjoy yourself when working, right? Dress up days are a way to show my personality and build positive relationships with my students. I worked in some psychology knowhow(Freud's ID) with this devil costume!

I'm bit of a Sneakerhead!
However, I pretty much only stick to Adidas! I love them! I own over 50 pair and I try as best as I can on a teachers salary to incorporate the "Sandwich" method. One of many things that I have learned over the years from my students is your top has gotta match your kicks and I have been doing it ever since! My absolutely favorite pair are my LaCombe's which were released by Adidas in 2016.
